Barbra Alan
Barbra Alan has been assistant director of development communications at Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center since January 2003. A professional writer for nearly 10 years, Barbra also enjoys writing about life in the Upper Connecticut River Valley for two regional publications, Here in Hanover and Woodstock Magazine.
Prior to coming to Dartmouth, she was a marketing communications writer in the Philadelphia area for Siemens Health Services and the Vanguard Group.
A resident of New Hampshire since 2001, Barbra lives in the Lakes Region with her husband and young daughter.
