Young artists at work

New self-portraits by young artists have brightened the DHMC campus.
With some help from DMS second-year medical student Suzannah Luft, a group of young artists have added a personal touch to the DHMC campus. Students with special needs, such as autism or developmental delays, that Luft met while teaching children's art classes at the AVA Gallery in Lebanon, N.H., created life-sized self portraits that were transferred to aluminum. The kids then painted the silhouettes, and the portraits were installed on the grounds of the medical center.
