What Matters
Meredith Sorensen, a resident in surgery at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, spent two months during the summer of 2009 in Tanzania—one month traveling around the country and one month doing a rotation at Saint Francis Designated District Hospital in Ifakara. She wrote about the experience in a feature titled "What Matters" for the Summer 2010 issue of Dartmouth Medicine (the article also includes many photographs from her stay there).
