Strong ties between Kosovo and Dartmouth

Atifete Jahjaga, the president of Kosovo, speaks at Dartmouth.

Over the past decade, a number of exchanges have brought students and faculty from Kosovo to Dartmouth and sent members of the Dartmouth community to Kosovo. In March, that relationship grew stronger when the president of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, came to Hanover. During her time at Dartmouth she spoke about the struggles her country has faced since the end of the conflict in Serbia in 1999, and she presented Dr. James Strickler with the Humanitarian Medal of Mother Theresa.
